TechBridge and Sponsors Ready for First Nail on 12th Technology Community Habitat House

Atlanta, GA – April 12, 2016 – TechBridge, a nonprofit that drives community impact by bringing affordable business and technology expertise to other nonprofits, is pleased to announce the construction of its 12th Technology Community Habitat House in partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Seventeen corporate sponsors have come together to continue the yearly tradition of building a new home for a hard-working Atlanta family. The build is a great opportunity for peer-to-peer networking with others in the technology community and provides a great team-building experience for all staff involved.

 

Beginning on the morning of Thursday, April 14, 2016, with a Wall-Raising Ceremony at the home’s site in Lakewood Heights at 11:30 a.m., the build will continue for seven weeks and culminate in a dedication ceremony that will take place at noon on Friday, June 3, 2016, to celebrate the project’s completion. The participating companies have contributed more than $80,000 to build the Technology Community Habitat House and will provide 280 volunteers needed to complete the project. Keeping with the technology theme and as a special gift to the new homeowners, computer equipment with a Microsoft software suite will be donated.
