RRISA is changing the world one refugee at a time. RRISA helps refugees along the path to self-sufficiency in their new homeland by acting as a bridge between local resources, the community and the refugees.
RRISA’s multi-lingual staff found themselves challenged by their limited internal communications tools which required that they go into the office to access email, calendars and shared documents. TechBridge™ worked with RRISA to develop a baseline IT assessment to identify areas of risk and recommend strategies to move the organization toward a stable IT environment.
TechBridge introduced RRISA to the cloud-based office and communications functionality of Microsoft Office 365 enabling their staff to save hundreds of hours a year in commute time and be more effective by working remotely. TechBridge worked with Microsoft to gain a nonprofit designation for RRISA which saved them over $200 a month in fees. RRISA is putting that $2,400+ per year of savings back into the organization to continue to improve their technology.
