A Digital Cocktail® Event
we celebrated the season with our annual Tech the Halls Digital Cocktail® Party at the Connector at Microsoft in downtown Atlanta.
We thrive because of passionate individuals who believe in the power of technology to create positive change. Every person’s commitment is a spark igniting innovation, empowerment, and positive transformation. As we embrace the holiday season, numerous sponsors, supporters, and IT executives joined together at Tech the Halls. A special thank you to Microsoft for hosting!
The night’s celebration started with the announcement that the 2023 Tee IT Up for TechBridge Golf Tournament raised a staggering $220,000 to fund TechBridge’s mission of leveraging technology and ending generational poverty. Guided by our co-chairs Bimal Bivek, D’Lovely Gibson, and Markus Satterfield in partnership with the Atlanta chapter of the Society for Information Management (Atlanta SIM) and GeorgiaCIO, the 2023 tournament marked our highest-yielding fundraiser to date. These funds will help us to amplify our work with nonprofits and continue to usher in success for students in our Technology Career Program (TCP).
Mayor Andre Dickens joined us in celebrating our mission and our community. Mayor Dickens has close ties to TechBridge, currently serving on our board. Prior to becoming mayor, he served as our Chief Development Officer. Mayor Dickens is also a driving force behind TCP, which he founded.
Maggie Phipps and Michael Bittel shared stories of the success of TCP with guests and encouraged them to find ways to get involved with TCP in the future. It was a night to remember.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the holidays and our collective impact as we continue to make positive change.
