Definitions

Sponsor Golfer
Golfers representing sponsoring companies in the tournament. These golfers do not have to be employees of the sponsoring company. However, all sponsor golfers must be registered to play. A representative of the sponsoring organization may register their golfers.
Sponsor Representative
Representatives from the sponsoring organization assigned to sponsor areas on the courses.  This opportunity allows our sponsors to connect with golfers as they play through the tournament.
IT Executive Golfer
Executive leadership (typically tech leaders) from various organizations who give their time for a great time. These executives must apply to participate and be approved by the tournament leadership. Although there is no entry cost, golfers may increase their impact by purchasing Player Packs and participating in other day of fundraising opportunities.

IT Executives

If you need to cancel last minute:

  1. Please do your best recruit an executive from your organization to play in your place
  2. Email our events team to let us know you are no longer available ASAP

You will provide your information via the application process. You will receive an email reminder if we are missing any vital information.

We ask for the following information for each golfer:

  • Shirt size
  • Handicap
  • Work email address
  • Company name
  • Job title

We work diligently to share final golfer pairing by the end of the day the Friday before the tournament.

We offer mulligans as part of our Player Packs. Player Packs will be for sale online without limit before the tournament and on the event day. Each pack includes two mulligans, ten raffle tickets, and a forward tee shot.* Packs cost $125 per player or $400 per team (4 players).

Raffle tickets may be purchased separately (3 for $10).

All proceeds go directly to fund our mission.

Player Pack pricing is subject to change.

*A forward tee shot allows the player to move up to the front tees once per person.

The course has limited golf club rental available. Please be sure to let us know that you need clubs when you complete your tournament registration. Our team will reach out to confirm that your request has been received and whether clubs are available.

Fundraising Opportunities

Yes; please contact Techbridge to donate raffle items. Note that we will not host a silent auction at this year’s Tee IT Up for Techbridge golf tournament.

You are welcome to host a raffle at your sponsor representative booth. You may collect contact info or business cards throughout the day and select a winner, to be announced at the reception.

Each sponsor is responsible for disclosing their raffle instructions and entry rules. The tournament, its representatives, and Techbridge, Inc. and its representatives are not responsible for sponsor raffles. The tournament reserves the right to cancel sponsor raffles.

We recommend 200 – 250 total giveaways, splitting them between the two courses.

General Sponsorship Questions
  • The names and contact information of the marketing representatives who will be assigned on the course’s hole(s)
  • The sponsoring organization’s brand mark. See requirements.
  • Email your brand mark to our webmaster. See requirements.
Requirements

Vector files always preferred.

High resolution uncompressed bitmaps accepted but not preferred: minimum 1600 pixels on the shorter side; please DO NOT scale up a smaller image to meet the minimum.

JPEGs are not acceptable.

Accepted formats in order of preference:

  1. .svg
  2. .eps
  3. .ai
  4. .png
  5. .tif, .tiff

 

Notes:

  • Vector files (.svg, .eps, .ai) should not contain embedded bitmap graphics
  • Fonts in vector files should be converted to outlines
  • PNGs should have alpha transparency (no white background)
  • TIFFs must not have a white background
  • If there’s a choice between a horizontal and a “stacked” version, the horizontal one is preferred

We list executives and their companies on our website. We do not distribute contact information.

We encourage you to conduct a “fishbowl” giveaway or raffle to collect contact information.

The tournament is in “scramble” format.

The course has limited golf club rental available. Please let us know that you need clubs when you complete your tournament registration. Our team will reach out to confirm that your request has been received and whether clubs are available.

We will assign foursomes within a week of the tournament. We prioritize and honor executive requests in this order:

  1. Sponsor Level
  2. Sponsor’s history with the tournament
  3. Invoice date

If your selected executive cancels, we will do our best to pair you with an alternate executive on your list.

Executive golfer pairings are not guaranteed.

If you choose to host an executive, the executive will take up one of your spots. So a foursome would send three golfers.

You can fill the remaining three spots as you please, either with company representatives or your own invited clients or executives.

You will choose your executive golfer through the golfer pairing form, open in .

Note that our A-list executive golfers (typically CIOs) are in high demand. However, we have recruited more than 120 Executive Golfers from Atlanta’s most sought-after corporations to accommodate our sponsors.

Remember: you can always fill your foursome with the people you invite.

A typical foursome may look like this:

  1. Golfer 1: IT executive golfer
  2. Golfer 2: sponsor golfer
  3. Golfer 3: sponsor golfer
  4. Golfer 4: sponsor golfer or client

Sponsor golfers will provide their information via the sponsor golfer registration form (opening in ). We request following information for each golfer:

  • Shirt size
  • Handicap
  • Work email address
  • Company name
  • Job title

You may have sponsor reps on both courses throughout the duration of the tournament.  Since this event covers 36 holes, the best way to maximize visibility for your company is to take advantage of this opportunity.

We recommend you bring a popup tent*, a branded tablecloth, promo items, and so forth.†

†The tournament will not provide these items. Should the list of provide items change, we will notify you via email.

Yes; if you fund two sponsorships, you may pick two IT executives to play with.

Sponsor Representatives
Snacks, Drinks, & Promotional Material

You may bring individually wrapped snacks (e.g. protein bars, snacks, sodas*, bottled water*). You may bring branded swag, flyers, and company information.

*Please note that due to the club’s contract, only Coca-Cola products may be served.

Alcohol

Château Elan will provide all products for the Beverage Station, Margarita, Martini, and Bloody Mary sponsors. Other items are available for purchase in the clubhouse and from the beverage carts.

Alcohol (Prohibited)

Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited, as this jeopardizes the club’s liquor license. Sponsors bringing in alcohol will be fined and/or banned from the tournament.

Cleanup

The venue will charge a cleanup fee to sponsors leaving trash on the course. To avoid this fee, please remove all items (including trash and boxes) and break down tables, chairs, and canopies.

Please help us keep this incredible property beautiful while supporting this good cause.

No. While we provide meals to all golfers, we do not provide meals to representatives assigned to the courses.

We encourage reps to bring personal lunches and beverages in a small cooler to their assigned hole. See What may sponsors reps bring to our holes/stations? for information about restrictions on food and drink.

Feel free to grab breakfast before heading to your assigned hole, and join us for the evening reception.

No.

Sponsor reps will not be assigned a golf cart. However, sponsor reps may drive one (1) personal vehicle (per sponsor) out to their assigned hole before  Once there, your vehicle must remain parked at the hole until the end of the tournament.

ATTENTION: For the safety of staff and participants, personal vehicles on the course must remain parked from  –  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Yes and no.

We will provide (1) 6′ folding table and (2) folding chairs to each sponsor rep, per hole, per course.

We will not provide tents for this year’s tournament. However, we highly encourage sponsor reps to bring their own branded pop-up* tent(s).

*Tent stakes prohibited.

We will try to finalize the master list no later than . When it is complete, we will email you your assignment.
Due to the fundraising nature of the event, sponsorship support is non-refundable. If you must withdraw, please provide written notice to us before . We require that you cover any costs we may incur on your behalf.

You may send two golfers from your organization to be paired up with another sponsoring twosome, or send one golfer and be paired with an IT executive golfer of your choice.*

*Executive pairings are not guaranteed.

No. Please do not ship items to Château Élan.
