AVLF wants to develop and implement a welcoming technology-based client intake system to better assist victims of domestic violence.
Greater efficiency is critical to making protection more accessible and the process far less stressful for victims, who are often low-income and paying for childcare, expensive parking downtown, and taking time off of work to come to the courthouse. With your support of this adoption, AVLF will streamline the Safe Families Office operations with the goal of reducing the time needed to complete forms and data entry from 1.5 hours to 30 minutes.
Customize and integrate Salesforce, Fast Forms, Conga Composer and other tools.
By customizing and integrating Salesforce, Fast Forms, Conga Composer and other tools, TechBridge will automate and digitize much of the paperwork – from sign-in sheets to legal forms – which will dramatically speed up the process for victims seeking protection. Multiple hours spent on critical data entry will be reduced to nearly zero by the automation of processes. In turn, AVLF will be able to spend less time on paperwork, help more victims of domestic violence, and dedicate more time to offering the holistic services and safety-planning that are critical to safety and independence for victims.
The best legal representation money can’t buy.
AVLF is the largest provider of pro bono legal services in Greater Atlanta. They directly serve almost 5,000 people each year and reach hundreds more through community outreach and workshops. Since 1979, AVLF has promoted access to justice by inspiring attorneys to provide high-quality education, advocacy, and representation at no charge to low-income families with basic civil legal needs. AVLF’s staff trains, mentors, and supports pro bono attorneys to assist low-income people at critical times in their lives. Their staff and programs make it as easy as possible for lawyers to engage in meaningful pro bono work.
The Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, in partnership with the Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), runs the Safe Families Office, the State’s only lawyer-staffed walk-in clinic located within a courthouse where victims of domestic violence can obtain assistance in petitioning the court for Temporary Protective Orders (TPOs) against their abusers.
