A Servant’s Love (ASL) is growing and needs better tools for email, file sharing and communication.
Migrate to Microsoft Office 365 and implement SharePoint.
A Servant’s Love’s primary programs are focused on supporting income-challenged senior citizens. Through this effort, we also support children and families as several of our participating seniors live in multi-generational households or are raising grandchildren.
The Senior Nutrition & Wellness Program (SNWP) provides over 200 boxes of nutritious foods, paper products, educational information and simple recipes to senior citizens throughout Mobile County, AL.
ASL cultivates the Harvest-of-Hope Garden (HOH) to offset monthly costs of purchasing fresh produce for seniors. Through a collaborative agreement with a local church, two acres of land is farmed by volunteers to provide fresh, healthy food for our seniors.
ASL has also worked with local schools to teach students the art of gardening and the importance of making healthy food choices.
Together we can make a tremendous impact in eliminating hunger!
ASL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
“I’ve been on the Senior Nutrition & Wellness Program for three years. If it had not been for this program through ASL, there are some nights I might have gone hungry. It helps by giving me things I can’t afford to buy, like fresh produce, meats, canned goods and other things. It helps the senior citizens with set incomes because by the time we buy medicines, we can’t afford a lot more. This is a supplement to help us get more than we can afford alone in our daily life. I appreciate it very much and I hope the program can continue.”
