Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands needed an email solution that gave their team easier access to their emails both in and out of the office. TechBridge worked with the Legal Aid Society to configure a new Outlook profile for up to 75 staff devices with support for setting up two scanning devices to work with Office 365’s cloud-hosted email services. This project included the safe removal of the legacy Exchange 2010 functionality after successful migration, provisioning of Azure AD Connect for Directory Synchronization, and training for primary day-to-day Office 365 administration.

This successful Office 365 project laid the foundation for future technology solutions, including the migration to an updated SharePoint. The Legal Aid Society was like many other similar organizations, a traditional paper-based environment. The team needed an environment that would allow them to collaborate on documents in real-time. With the addition of an updated SharePoint, the team can now work on documents in real-time and has an organized, searchable repository for important documentation. Both the Office 365 and SharePoint migrations have allowed the Legal Aid Society to shut down an onsite server and enjoy the expertise and experience of Microsoft.
