TechBridge’s Technology Career Program partners with bitsIO to build stronger employment pipelines

September 16, 2021

TechBridge’s Technology Career Program (TCP) is announcing an exciting new partnership with bitsIO that will increase employment opportunities for TCP graduates. bitsIO helps both small and large businesses harness powerful Splunk software and maximize their ROI by getting the most out of the tool.

bitsIO CEO Kalpana Krishnamurthi and founding partner Suman Gajavelly have both achieved Splunk Elite Partner status. This status elevates them as an authority on Splunk, a software tool helping businesses consolidate and track interactions and impressions into easy-to-understand data and its operations, making them an ideal employer partner for TCP.

bitsIO is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations, investing in education, and building up their community. This partnership achieves these objectives. The first cohort of students opting into the TCP and bitsIO partnership have all earned their certifications and have been placed in tech roles.

bitsIO helps interns gain knowledge and hands-on experience, learn best practices, and be successful at their future jobs. The best part is, by working with them, we get to see their talent and hire candidates who are a great fit for our culture at bitsIO. It’s a win-win for interns, bitsIO and TechBridge. When the purpose is bigger, it is always successful.

— bitsIO CEO Kalpana Krishnamurthi

TCP, a part of TechBridge’s workforce development programs, equips youth and adults with technology skills and certifications to set them up for careers in the tech industry. TCP’s hands-on approach helps potential employees develop the requisite tech skills they need to compete for jobs. The mentoring and wrap-around services provided by the TCP program build the students’ confidence and provide opportunities for them to make professional connections that can later serve as references. It also allows potential employers to hand-pick their new talent, ensuring they fit the company culture and have real-world experience in addition to their certifications and skills.

We are grateful for the bitsIO team and their level of commitment to the TCP internship experience. This partnership is dramatically enhancing the student learning experience, as students are provided valuable on-the-job learning […] while further developing their technology skills.
