Julio Carrillo Interim CEO

Interim CEO
Julio Carrillo is the Interim CEO for TechBridge. He is responsible for the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives for Business Development and Outreach with the nonprofit sector to help them to alleviate poverty. Prior to this role, Julio was involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta for 11 years, and served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for managing all operational facets of the Agency (Program Services, Information Technologies, Business Development and Facilities Management) and assisting the President and CEO in the aggressive growth of the organization. He helped to impact the lives of almost 10,000 children and develop strategies focusing on education and children affected by parents who are incarcerated, as well Hispanic Mentoring Programs. He has been a mentor for over 10 years and his little is now in college. He has a passion for helping others and has served as a board member for The Global Village Project, Atlanta Victims Assistance, and currently serves as a board member for Agape Youth Family Center. Julio’s education includes a BA in Business Administration, and certificates from Columbia University in Strategy & Innovation, and from the American Express Leadership Academy. He is an alum of Leadership Atlanta class 2016.

Misty Arrington joined the Techbridge team in 2016 as the Staff Accountant. Misty has more than 20 years of experience in accounting. She is excited to join the Techbridge team where the focus is assisting in the success of other nonprofits. Misty has lived in Metro Atlanta her entire life and has raised two wonderful daughters. She is proud to have added the role of “Nana” to her resume in 2016.

Community Leader, National
John joined TechBridge in September 2005 and serves as Director of Consulting Operations. Since joining TechBridge, he has provided solution guidance to the nonprofit community. He has held several positions during his time at TechBridge, working towards expanding the services TechBridge provides nonprofits and increasing internal efficiencies.John has 23 years of technical experience and 19 years of consulting experience. Prior to joining TechBridge, John was with Accenture for 7.5 years providing consulting and services to many corporate clients. Prior to that he worked for an engineering firm providing services to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center.His main competencies are technical project management, execution/operations architecture, Salesforce, Microsoft, and Apple technologies. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Kevin Boston Customer Success Manager

Kevin rejoined TechBridge in June 2017 and now serves as a Customer Success Manager. He enjoys working with nonprofits throughout the United States helping them leverage technology to better serve their community through their missions. Most recently Kevin was at CDC Foundation as Director of Information Technology, responsible for all aspects of their IT activities. Prior to TechBridge, he held a technical lead position at Xerox Global Services with Equifax and at IBM where he provided support to end users. Kevin has 20 years of experience providing IT systems and end-user support. Knowledge of technologies includes Microsoft operating systems and applications, Windows Server and Office 365. Kevin is also a Microsoft-Certified Professional. Having earned the MCSA: Office 365 certification, Kevin has demonstrated the skills required to transition to and administer cloud-hosted business applications with Microsoft 365.

Larry Clark has been a longtime advocate and strategic advisor for TechBridge. He recently joined the team to lead our consulting practice which includes our strategy and delivery practice. Prior to joining TechBridge, Larry was the CIO of Advantage Resourcing, a multi-billion dollar Staffing firm and a former Executive in Residence at Georgia State University helping to establish the Center for Research in Information Systems. Previously he was Managing Director & CIO for Randstad USA, a leading employment services company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Netherlands based Randstad Holding. He lead the effort to integrate and consolidate the information technology resources which resulted in annual savings in excess of 10 million dollars. Before joining Randstad, Clark served as the CIO for Onesource, Inc, a national provider of facilities services with annual revenues in excess of one billion dollars. Clark has also served as Vice President, CIO for Central Health Services, Inc., a regional provider of home health care services with revenues in excess of 350 million dollars. And as Commissioner of Administrative Services for the State of Georgia and cabinet member of Governor Joe Frank Harris, directed all aspects of the agency which managed the State’s business and financial functions.

Karen Cramer leads the Performance Measurement Group whose offerings help nonprofits to define and measure mission success. Karen joined TechBridge because she is passionate about reducing poverty in America. Her mission in life is for all kids to have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Karen is a licensed master’s social worker and has been a nonprofit professional for 15 years. Karen is a proud co-founder of Helping Mamas, the metro Atlanta baby supplies bank and winner of United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Spark Prize. From working in large and small nonprofits, Karen understands the power of utilizing technology to make nonprofits more effective and efficient. She received her master of science in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor’s degree in social work from James Madison University. Karen serves as a peer reviewer for the Council on Accreditation and is an active volunteer in many nonprofit organizations in her community.

Andre Dickens is the Community Leader in Georgia for TechBridge. He is charged with building relationships with nonprofits in Georgia. TechBridge’s vision to alleviate poverty through technology aligns perfectly with his personal mission and is what attracted him to this role. Dickens is a proud product of the Atlanta Public School System. Dickens earned his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1998. In 2013, he earned his Masters of Public Administration in Economic Development at Georgia State University. He is an alum of Leadership Atlanta, Diversity Leadership Atlanta, and United Way VIP.After starting his career as an engineer with BP-Amoco, he moved into sales management for DSM Engineering Plastics and became the company’s youngest salesperson of the year. In 2002 he co-founded City Living Home Furnishings in Atlanta, a family-operated business that grew into a multi-million dollar business with two locations and over 20 employees.He returned to his alma mater to serve as the Assistant Director for Georgia Tech’s Office of Institute Diversity. He led programs and initiatives that enabled hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students each year successfully matriculate Georgia Tech.Andre was also elected citywide to the Atlanta City Council Post 3 at-Large in November 2013. The Councilman currently serves as the chair of the Community Development & Human Resources Committee. He also serves on the boards of the Atlanta Beltline, Invest Atlanta, and Center for Civil and Human Rights. In his short tenure as a Councilman, he has become a vocal and legislative activist in promoting quality educational opportunities for youth, workforce development, economic development, and ensuring that affordable housing is a significant component of Atlanta’s future economic growth.

Anton’s service to TechBridge started as a volunteer in 2017, working with fellow Scout leader/TechBridge CEO James Franklin and team to improve TechBridge’s consulting tools and process. As CPO since 2018, Anton is accountable for Consulting Programs: the strategy, performance, and engineering elements that deliver on TechBridge’s non-profit theory of change. Anton has a long history of executive management and leadership in the technology-based services space, as well as consulting and entrepreneurial experience building/growing both for-profit and non-profit companies. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Anton holds an MBA from York University’s Shulich School and the International University of Japan; and a BA from the University of Victoria. Anton lives in Morningside with his wife and two sons; is a keen skier and automobile enthusiast, and a longtime youth coach of soccer and rugby.
John Harvey Senior Solutions Architect

As a Senior Solutions Architect, John Harvey is a Subject Matter Expert for implementing Microsoft’s Office 365 Cloud, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, Planner, Office 365 Groups and Office Online. In September 2016, John Harvey celebrated 8 years as part of TechBridge team. John is a Technical Consultant and believes in a holistic approach for requirements, scoping, implementation and training. Having started his IT career at a social services agency in Austin, Texas, he is well positioned to understand our nonprofit customer needs and always works to empower other nonprofits efficiently adopting new technology leveraging his own time spent providing case management services. John enjoys helping end users adopt new technology and working closely with all levels of users, management and administration to ensure solid IT integration with an agency’s mission and goals. Knowledge of technologies includes Microsoft and Apple operating systems and applications, Windows Server, Azure, Office 365 cloud, networking, with CompTIA and Microsoft Certifications. John is also a Microsoft-Certified Professional. Having earned the MCSA: Office 365 certification, John has demonstrated the skills required to transition to and administer cloud-hosted business applications with Microsoft 365.
Jennifer Higgins Strategy Group Leader

Jennifer Higgins leads the Strategy Group and is responsible for all consulting engagements—including IT assessments, planning roadmaps, and process optimization. Jennifer had a wide variety of roles in her first stint at TechBridge from 2002-2007. Having been back since May of 2012, her focus has been to help nonprofits use technology to alleviate the causes of poverty.Jennifer’s previous experience includes consulting in the financial services industry for Accenture and owning her own business. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia in English and French and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in France. Jennifer lives in West Midtown with her husband Chris and their two sons.

Anita started volunteering with TechBridge in 2014 and joined the staff full time as a strategy consultant in 2015. She is a seasoned management professional with more than 30 years of experience in IBM. Throughout her IBM career, she demonstrated progressive expertise in organizational development, change management, project management, process engineering, and strategic planning. She is adept in transformational leadership by quickly accessing inhibitors within global matrix environments and among cross-functional teams that have resulted in improved workflow and significant productivity gains. Anita has a proven ability to launch and structure new organizations along with elevating established businesses via strategic process improvements and implementation planning. She has a BS degree in Mathematics from Savannah State University.

John has 6 years of experience in technology consulting for nonprofits. He joined TechBridge as a Google Product Consultant in July 2013. Previously he served in an AmeriCorps service program sponsored by Points of Light and Google. John has improved outcomes for low-income communities and families through the effective use of technology at hundreds of nonprofits. He fell in love with the positive effects he was able to bring to Atlanta communities through this work and now serves as a Business Analyst working on IT assessments and strategies as well as TechBridge’s in-house Google Product Specialist.

Bud Kitchin serves as the Community Leader for Alabama, where he is excited to lead the campaign to alleviate poverty in Alabama through his work at TechBridge. Bud most recently served as Mayor of Lincoln, AL where he led this progressive city to new heights. Recruitment of new businesses, expanding industry and improving quality of life for its citizens are among his legacies. Many know Bud from his family-owned business – Incredible Kitchin’s, a leading off-price retailer in Alabama and Mississippi for over 50 years. Bud received the Alabama Retailer of the Year in 2001.Two of his core beliefs are serving and giving back to his community, whether volunteering to assist nonprofits with their mission or striving for more livable and sustainable communities, he is leading the charge.Bud is a highly qualified executive manager, offering more than 40 years of management and professional consulting services both within the private and public sectors. In his spare time, you might find him and his lovely wife, Debbie cultivating their small vineyard and acting out as vintners. If not in the vineyard, you might find them on the water enjoying all things… LakeLife!

Stacey Laidlaw is one of TechBridge’s strategy group project managers. She’s PMP certified with six years of software implementation and development experience in healthcare and education.Stacey has worked in nonprofit project management with SCOPE in Florida and with the Scholarship Academy locally. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.Stacey was excited to join TechBridge because she’d get to employ both her technology and her project management experience.She is an active member of Renovation Church and Project Management Institute Atlanta.When Stacey’s not serving her community you’ll find her entertaining, enjoying the arts, or taking an annual trip to the beach.
Andrew Lloyd Director of Corporate Relations and Philanthropy

Andrew Lloyd is the Director of Corporate Relations and Philanthropy for TechBridge. He is responsible for the cultivation of new corporate partnerships and grow existing corporate partnerships, as well manage the strategy for individual giving support. He serves as lead strategist for the company fund development, helping the COO and management team create a multi-year plan for increasing revenue which informs and supports the company plans for aggressive growth by 2020.
Prior to this role, Andrew worked for Habitat for Humanity International and served as a Corporate Development Officer. He was responsible for a portfolio of donors giving to Habitat for Humanity International’s domestic and global programs. These programs included Habitat Hammers Back (Puerto Rico Recovery Program), Neighborhood Revitalization, Habitat for Humanity’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, and US and Global Team Builds. The donors in his portfolio represented corporate giving revenues of $55MM to Habitat for Humanity International in Fiscal Year 2018. Before his time with Habitat for Humanity International, Andrew worked for the Georgia Region of the American Red Cross. During his American Red Cross tenure, he was responsible for the cultivation, development, and stewardship of Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies based in Georgia with annual giving capacities between $25K to $500K. In 2018, Andrew was the proud recipient of the Excellence in Collaboration Award for the Southeast and Caribbean Division of the American Red Cross. Andrew remains an active volunteer for the Georgia Region of the American Red Cross and shares a strong passion for their mission. While Andrew has lived in Phoenix, AZ and New Orleans, LA, he was born and raised in Atlanta. Andrew has a BA in Hospitality Administration from Georgia State University.

Manish came to TechBridge in January 2015 through TechBridge’s acquisition of Aidmatrix, a nonprofit that has been accelerating food banking operations with their supply chain technology and community partnerships. Manish has over 10 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in Software Development using Microsoft Technologies in the fields of web, client-server and mobile applications. Manish has over 4 years of experience being a senior technical leader with deep design and delivery experience for a portfolio of products of multi-tier SaaS products with web-based and mobile-based clients on the Microsoft.NET/SQL Server/Oracle technology stack. His other areas of expertise include Microsoft Azure, Agile development and as a Scrum Master. He has experience leading technology teams both on- and off-shore. Manish has a Master of Science in Information Technology from University of North Texas and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.

Jenny has over a decade of IT management experience specializing in business process improvement, human resource information systems, project management, technical support and training. She joined TechBridge in 2011 and as the Customer Success Manager, Jenny enjoys working with nonprofits throughout the United States to increase efficiencies and drive community impact through technology solutions, training and support. Prior to TechBridge, Jenny worked as the Manager of Technical Services for a global consumer electronics company for 9+ years. In addition, Jenny has experience managing the operations, social media accounts, and e-commerce websites for a small, Veteran-owned business. Jenny has an MBA with an Emphasis in Management of Emerging Technology from the University of Georgia and a BBA in Business Management from Mercer University.

Cora began her professional career in TechBridge in May 2018 after graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in International Affairs and minor in Public Policy. After being heavily involved in the national service organization Omega Phi Alpha and working in Georgia Tech’s Office of Disability Services for over three years, she soon realized her passion for helping the school, city, and international communities. When Cora is not working, you can find her making traditional and digital art or volunteering at the local cat shelter.

Prior to joining Techbridge as our Nonprofit Advisor, Oregon native Simone Perry spent several years in major gift fundraising and consulting for nonprofits, political organizations, and campaigns. Carrying a unique combination of financial services and development experience, she excels at identifying likely partnerships and crafting strategies to engage them.Simone is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and was chosen as one of “Who’s Who in Black Atlanta” in 2016. She has been featured as a guest commenter on CNN’s New Day, and Neil Cavuto Coast to Coast on Fox Business and published in the Washington Post and The Weekly Standard among other news outlets. When she’s not working Simone is likely breaking a sweat at Crossfit-Ex or volunteering with the Georgia English Bulldog Rescue.

Ron Richard supports TechBridge programs that engage technologists with nonprofit organizations applying smarter data-driven solutions to their missions. Ron has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, National Computer Graphics Association, Professional Photographers of America and other not-for-profit organizations in volunteer engagement, leadership development and communications. For 17 years he worked in corporate communications and employee experience for National Financial Partners and Benefit Plan Services. Ron earned his B.A. from the University of Minnesota. He serves the High Museum of Art as a volunteer school group educator in literacy, history and STEAM learning.

Rick joined TechBridge in May 2012 for a second tour of duty, having previously worked several years with the company. He has nearly a decade of experience supporting non-profits. Rick has a BA in Interactive Media Design. His recent experience includes serving as the IT Director for the Martin Luther King Jr. Center and Senior Manager of Web Solutions for NPower New York.

Samantha Sanchez serves as the Community Leader for Tennessee, where she builds relationships with nonprofits and supporters to tackle poverty in Tennessee. Samantha is a recognized nonprofit leader in Tennessee. She was named one of the Center for Nonprofit Management and the Tennessean’s “30 in their 30s” for exceptional nonprofit leadership. Samantha most recently served as the Director of Training, Compliance, and Technology with the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services, a statewide legal nonprofit. While there, Samantha helped create and implement the national web portal – ABA Free Legal Answers. Samantha led the technology development team from Baker, Donelson and their efforts earned the team a CEO Circle Award from the firm. Samantha is the only non-attorney to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Tennessee Supreme Court for her contributions to helping lawyers to perform pro bono work online in Tennessee and throughout the United States. Samantha has always been a believer in service to others, which is why she earned her master’s degree in Community Development from Vanderbilt University. Although she considers herself as Nashvillian after ten years in Nashville, Samantha is originally from Alabama and attended the University of Alabama. That’s where she met her wonderful husband, Michael. In their spare time, you’ll find Samantha and Michael spending time with their 5 nephews and 1 niece or playing with their dog, Cookie, and cat, Cakester.

Sean Williams Nonprofit Operations Consultant

Sean Williams is a Nonprofit Operations Consultant and joined TechBridge in June 2014 through the acquisition of SEMA Development, a nonprofit which he and a fellow Georgia Tech graduate co-founded to deliver affordable mobile apps to other nonprofits. Sean has worked directly with over 25 nonprofits with operating budgets ranging from $500K to $125M to manage various technology projects.Sean leverages his background as a public speaker to advocate innovation and social enterprise across the country, speaking at various venues including the NTEN NTC Conference in San Jose, California and the Points of Light Civic Accelerator Pitch Night at the World of Coke Museum in Atlanta, GA. His insights on the importance of IT Security for Nonprofits have been featured in articles by the Chronicle of Philanthropy and Evans Consulting Group. Sean also serves on the Advisory Board of Enterprise2Empower, a Georgia Tech student organization that matches students of all backgrounds to fulfilling employment opportunities at social businesses, non-profit organizations, NGOs, philanthropies, etc. that fuel positive social and environmental impact.Outside of TechBridge, Sean is an avid outdoorsman and can be found trudging up mountains to prepare for his next “GORUCK Challenge” and working towards life goals to someday scale Mount Denali and complete an Iron Man. Sean lives in the Old Fourth Ward district of Atlanta where he attends Renovation Church and hopes to continue to invest in his neighbors and community.
