Known as a dynamic and engaged thinker among chief IT officers, Edwina Payne (Co-Chair of the TechBridge Digital Event Series with Mark Satterfield of Anthem, Inc.) is a finalist for WIT’s Women of the Year ( WOTY ) in Technology Awards, to be presented . and discussed IT change management and leadership.
Edwina has 25 years of experience in information technology and systems, supply chain technology and program management across multiple industries. Currently, she serves as SVP & Chief Enterprise Architect for McKesson. McKesson (NYSE: MCK) is the oldest and largest healthcare company in the nation, serving more than 50% of U.S. hospitals and 20% of physicians. They deliver one-third of all medications used daily in North America with operations in more than 16 countries.
Previously, Edwina served as VP and CIO of Avanos Medical (formerly known as Halyard Health Inc. (NYSE: HYH), a medical technology company focused on eliminating pain, speeding recovery, and preventing infection. She also served as VP and CIO of Zimmer Biomet and worked for Johnson & Johnson’s medical device unit.
A Purdue University graduate, Edwina began her corporate career at Kellogg Company where she took on in-country assignments in Brazil and Mexico, establishing remote computer support to 3,000+ users across 11 countries in North America, Latin America, and Europe. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
