TechBridge Supporters Complete 12th Habitat for Humanity House Build

[Atlanta, June 10, 2016] — TechBridge, a nonprofit driving community impact by bringing affordable business and technology expertise to other nonprofits, announces the completed construction of the 12^th TechBridge Technology Community Habitat for Humanity House. In partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, dedication ceremonies for the new home took place on June 3, 2016. Continuing a growing legacy of proactive and tangible impact in the metro-Atlanta community, 16 corporate sponsors joined and donated more than $80,000, also providing volunteers for the home’s construction near the East Point neighborhood in southwest Atlanta.

Participating Companies

At the dedication ceremony, the new homeowners were presented with the keys to the house, as well as:

• A new laptop computer and monitor donated by GE Energy
• Software donated by Microsoft
• A printer, office supplies, and a gift certificate for a computer desk and chair given by the house sponsors
• A top-of-the-line Char-Broil grill presented by Look Listen

The Coca-Cola Company again provided beverages throughout the project. MDI Group donated funds to secure a PODS storage unit on the home construction site to store supplies. TechBridge applauds all of the sponsors and their technology professionals for their dedication and commitment to the community, noting that five of the 2016 corporate sponsors have participated in all 12 TechBridge Community Habitat House projects to date: Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, GE, Southern Company, Synergis, and The Coca-Cola Company.
