The evening of marked Digital Cocktail, a spectacular evening among top technology and business leaders in Atlanta. The attendees joined together to collaborate and celebrate impact at Accenture’s Innovation Hub located in Midtown’s bustling Tech Square.

During the program our Digital Events Series co-chairs Edwina Payne (SVP & CIO at Avanos Medical) and Ed Smith (CTO at Anthem, Inc.) proudly named Carol Tomé (SVP & CFO at Home Depot) the recipient of the Community Leader Award. They also announced that Bryson Koehler (CTO at Equifax) had won the Ed Steinike CIO Award. These honorees will be celebrated at our annual Digital Ball on .

Vish Narendra (Board Chair and SVP & CIO at Graphic Packing International) expressed gratitude to our Digital Event Sponsors, without whom these events would not be possible. He also reminded those working with nonprofits about the upcoming Georgia Dream Big Technology Grant. The grant helps nonprofits to better fulfill their missions through technology. Our CEO James Franklin honored Eric Pearson, a friend and colleague of many attendees, who passed away . Eric was known for his limitless kindness and generosity.

To highlight the evening, the long-awaited theme for the Digital Ball was finally revealed during the program. This year’s theme will be Achieving Bold Transformations, to celebrate the nonprofits, companies, and individuals transforming our communities for the better.
